Tamas Revesz: NEW YORK
An International Traveling Photography Exhibition at the KOGART House, Budapest

Tamas Revesz, a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, premiered the
international photo exhibition "New York" in Tokyo in 2004. The
exhibition comprised of 62 black and white photographs, evoked
exuberant audience and critical response. Reveszí emphatic, intriguing
visual approach presented a new look at New York ñ an artistís
personal vision of the cityís light, shadows, people, steel and
concrete set forth with an oblique, uplifting interpretation.

Following its Japanese premier the exhibition will open in Budapest on
March 17, 2006, during the Budapest Spring Festival at the KOGART
House. The Honorable Arpad Goncz, former president of Hungary, will
serve as the exhibitionís official patron.

Mr. Tamas Revesz was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1946. He is a
photographer and graphic designer based in New York City since 1997.
He has had one-man shows around the world and has published ten books.
Revesz is comfortable living and working in both the United States and
Hungary. "I feel myself fortunate today that I feel at home both in
Hungary and in America and that I can contribute some way with my work
to both countries."
